The design process takes time and patience, and therefore not only are you investing financially but time-wise, and to be honest, a lot of emotional investment goes into designing a home, too—That's why it is helpful to have a professional helping you along the way.
3. Do You Love to Delegate?
A big part of determining if you are ready to work with a designer is whether you want a more hands-on approach or prefer a more consultative approach to give advice and direction rather than a full-service approach. These are vastly different service models and one you need to consider based on your preference of working with a designer in your home.
With that thought in mind, handing over the reins to a full-service interior designer takes an incredible amount of the heavy lifting and decision-making off your back.
